Newborn Sessions ~ $375

Newborn sessions are held in the comfort of your own home with a lifestyle approach - in other words, no intricate baby posing, artificial lights, or studio-type work.  Instead, these sessions are focused on the connection between you and your baby (siblings, too!), and capturing this incredibly special and fleeting time in your life.

We tend to stay in the nursery and master bedroom bedroom/living room, but I'll also look around for unexpected spots with beautiful light in which to get a bit more creative.  I always take a few photos of the baby in the crib or swaddled on a bed and perhaps even in a basket, but in my opinion, the best place for your baby to be photographed is in your arms.

The lifestyle approach lends itself to more flexibility in terms of timing and are therefore generally held at around 2 weeks of age. Because we aren't doing any intricate posing with your baby, he/she needn't be asleep for the entire session.  In fact, some of my favorite images I've taken are of newborns staring into the eyes of their parents.  So what does all that mean?  Basically it means we don't have to rush to schedule the session for right after you get home from the hospital - you can take some time to adjust to being at home as a family before our session.

After Your Session:

I always aim to get a "sneak peek" or two online via my Facebook page within 48 hours of a session. You are more than welcome to tag yourself in these and share with family and friends! Within two weeks of our session, you will receive a link to a password protected online gallery.

The gallery will contain a collection of 20 to 25 images from your session (the best of the best) in both color and black/white, retouched and ready for you to purchase:

Electronic Download of all Gallery Images (with print release) ~ $50.00

Disc of all Gallery Images (with print release) ~ $75.00

USB of all Gallery Images (with print release) ~ $100.00

You may also order lab-quality prints (cost varies depending upon print size and finish) directly from your gallery as well.
